Description:
- Represent Pass Comm Technology with Capital Team for all Station upgrade programs. Project Manage the PA Project for current and future station upgrades
- Inventory and manage Pass Comm Capital projects portfolio
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Capital Pass Comm related projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Provide guidance to project team throughout project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements
- Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines and processes
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Pass Comm Technologies at NJ TRANSIT
- Proven working experience in project management
- Knowledge of NJ TRANSIT PA system and requirements
- Knowledge of NJ TRANSIT Station signage equipment and systems
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access or PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
