Job Overview The position of Sr. Retail Banker is responsible for assisting the Bank’s customers with their selection of various accounts and financial services in a prompt efficient manner. This position is also required to provide appropriate level of service to meet the needs of the Bank’s customers while focusing on customer retention and developing new relationships. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to multi-task on a daily basis
Duties

- Perform a broad variety of customer service tasks in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure service standards are met within assigned branch.
- Protect the interest of the Bank and minimize loss through the adherence to security measures and other policies and procedures.
- Assist supervisors in coaching and training branch personnel to achieve incentive goals and increase referral activity.
- Refer customers to appropriate personnel for new services.
- Assist in attaining established bank and branch goals through active participation in incentive and referral programs. Must be active in cross selling the Bank’s products and services.
- Perform teller and clerical duties.
- Assist and support the Branch Operations Officer and Branch Operations Specialist.
- Required to be fully knowledgeable in the areas of teller, customer service, vault, safe deposit, branch operations and basic (rates, payments, terms) lending.
- Executes financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining a balancing record of 90% or more each quarter.
- Accept and process consumer loan applications for review by the Branch Officer.
- Perform Notary Public duties, as licensed.
- Be flexible to assist whenever needed. This position operates in an office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Assist other branches as needed.
- This is a full time position performed in a regular office environment, Monday through Saturday, Retail Branch Banking hours. Travel is required.
- Other duties as assigned: Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without Notice, deemed necessary by Management.
Skills
- Strong understanding of banking operations and financial services.
- Experience in loan origination and processing is highly desirable.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
- Familiarity with financial software to manage customer accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
