Security Officer Access Specialist
As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, managing access points, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries by checking credentials, verifying authorization, and directing individuals according to site protocols.

Screen vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted rules and reporting procedures for a chemical and petrochemical environment.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access control areas, gates, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:

A TSA issued TWIC is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
