- Breakfast Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Lunch Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Welcome to Pruett’s Market! We are a 3rd-generation, locally owned independent market right on Signal Mountain. Our kitchen serves up restaurant-quality breakfast and lunch offerings—from scratch-prepped morning meals to our popular hot bar and hot island displays enjoyed on our covered outdoor patio.

What You’ll Do:
- Master the Line: Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and lunch menu items quickly and accurately according to recipes.
- Set Up for Success: Set up and maintain our hot bar and hot island displays so they stay full, fresh, and visually appealing for our morning and lunch rushes.
- Prep for Tomorrow: Handle advance food prep for the next day's breakfast and lunch service to keep operations running smoothly.
- Serve with a Smile: Interact warmly with customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of menu offerings to provide fast, engaging service.
- Maintain High Standards: Clean, restock, and safely operate kitchen stations while strictly following all health and safety guidelines.
- Team-First Mindset: Assist surrounding Food Service stations whenever needed during busy market rushes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1+ year of kitchen or line cook experience is preferred, but we love a team member who is eager to learn and continue growing their culinary skills!
- Shift Availability: Ability to work either our 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Breakfast) or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Lunch) shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Pace & Stamina: Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and move quickly during peak morning and lunch hours.
- Customer-Centric Personality: A polite, engaging personality with strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Commute: Ability to reliably commute to Signal Mountain, TN.
