Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable nanny to provide attentive care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and kindergarteners, and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, educational, and fun atmosphere. This role requires a strong commitment to the well-being of the children, along with the ability to manage daily activities effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Create educational activities to foster learning and curiosity.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Plan and implement fun outings or activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare or caregiving roles, particularly with toddlers and school-aged children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus; experience in daycare settings is advantageous.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in handling various situations that may arise during care.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their growth and development.

Additional information:
This position begins September 1 and is for three full days (9 am - 5pm) per week. Seeking full day care for a 2 year old and part-time 5 years old kindergartener. Prefers someone who could help out with light housekeeping. Employers do have a dog, so please consider that when applying.
