Position Summary
The Mechatronic Technician performs hands on diagnosis, repair, testing, and validation of industrial servo motors, drives, brakes, and related equipment within a repair facility. This role supports the company’s motion control and servo repair operations by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and restoring equipment to proper operating condition.
The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to high quality repair work.
Core Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues involving servo motors, drives, brakes, encoders, gearboxes, and related equipment.
- Repair or replace components including motors, brakes, encoders, bearings, seals, and related parts.
- Test and validate repaired equipment using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to verify operational performance.
- Interpret inspection findings and test results to determine appropriate repair actions.
- Execute repairs in accordance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Technicians and other team members on cross functional repair activities.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to engineering or support resources as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment that supports productivity and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications
Required
-
2+ years of industrial electrical, mechanical, maintenance, or repair experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to learn industrial motion control products and repair processes.
- Ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred

Experience with servo motors, drives, motion control products, or industrial electrical systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, or industrial service environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, or technical drawings.
- Experience troubleshooting motors, drives, or electromechanical equipment.
Physical Demands

- Regular standing, bending, and movement throughout the facility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
