Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, vendor kanbans, and material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Receiving, Warehouse, and Finance to prevent material shortages and keep operations running smoothly.
Overview
- Coordinate cycle counts and inventory reconciliation using SAP
- Manage vendor kanbans, place releases, and track/expedite shipments
- Troubleshoot SAP and inventory transaction issues for production teams
- Support receiving, material picking, and warehouse operations
- Generate regular inventory and logistics reports
- Manage obsolete, excess, and scrap material processes
- Partner with Finance on inventory valuation and analysis
- Train employees on cycle counting and SAP processes
- Support Lean/continuous improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1+ year of logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience
- Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience in regulated or high-volume manufacturing a plus
