Senior Tax Manager (High-Net-Worth & Trust and Estate tax)
Palm Beach Gardens or Boca Raton | Hybrid | $160,000 - $220,000
Some firms are constantly hiring because people keep leaving. This isn't one of them.
In fact, one of the reasons this opportunity is so appealing is because openings like this don't come around very often.
This firm has built the kind of reputation most Public Accounting firms would love to have. Not just with clients, but with employees too.
I've worked in the Public Accounting market for years and one thing has always stood out about this firm: people stay.
Not because they have to. Because they want to.
While other firms battle turnover after every busy season, this team has built a culture where careers last years, sometimes decades. When people do leave, it's often for a change in career rather than another CPA firm.
Why people stay
The philosophy is simple: "Treat your people well and they'll take care of your clients."
It's a principle the firm has followed for generations, and it's reflected in everything from leadership accessibility to flexibility and long term career development.
This is a firm where relationships matter. Clients stay for years. Employees stay for years. Partners are approachable. Leadership is supportive. People are trusted to do their jobs without unnecessary politics or micromanagement.
The result is a culture that's professional, collaborative, and refreshingly stable.
The opportunity
You'll be joining a highly respected Private Client team, working closely with high net worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and family offices.
This is not a compliance production role.
You'll become a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients, helping them navigate complex tax matters, wealth preservation strategies, trust and estate planning considerations, and multi generational planning opportunities.
For someone who enjoys building long term client relationships and acting as more than just a tax reviewer, it's an exceptional opportunity.
Benefits
Competitive compensation ranging from $160,000 to $220,000 depending on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, flexible hybrid working, and the backing of one of the most respected firms in the market.
What you'll be doing
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for high net worth individuals, families, and family offices, overseeing complex tax engagements and providing strategic advice. You'll review and manage individual, trust, gift, estate, and partnership tax returns while helping clients navigate increasingly complex planning and compliance matters.
What they're looking for
- 7+ years of Public Accounting tax experience
- Strong experience working with high net worth individuals and families
- Significant trust and estate planning experience
- Strong knowledge of trust, estate, and tax laws
- Experience reviewing complex individual, trust, gift, and estate tax returns
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- CPA preferred
- Strong communication and advisory skills
If you're looking for a long term home where sophisticated client work, stability, and culture genuinely coexist, I'd love to tell you more.
