Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working PRN in a home health setting! Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients across age groups, including children with developmental delays and adults with speech impairments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language therapy plans aligned with patient needs and goals.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal therapy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and patient responses using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies, physiology of speech mechanisms, and exercises to support ongoing progress at home.
- Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care.
Must have a valid and in good standing SLP license
