Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, farm machinery, and power tools to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and pest control chemicals across various outdoor sites.
- Follow detailed pesticide management and integrated pest management (IPM) protocols to ensure effective pest control while minimizing environmental impact.
- Use ladders and hand tools proficiently for application tasks in hard-to-reach areas, maintaining ladder safety procedures at all times.
- Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures when necessary.
- Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate application methods based on crop type, pest presence, or landscape requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, application locations, and safety compliance documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about application schedules, safety measures, and pest management strategies.
Requirements
- Proven outdoor work experience in farming, landscaping, lawn care, or agriculture environments.
- Mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, land equipment, and power tools is essential.
- Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge, pest control techniques, and chemical agent handling is required.
- Knowledge of pesticide management practices and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely along with a valid driver’s license; experience with land surveying or farm machinery operation is a plus.
- Understanding of ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection use during chemical handling.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment or chemicals and perform manual tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
