Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drywall foreman to oversee our residential drywall quality control and touchups in northern New England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall taping and an eye for detail. This role requires hands-on expertise, as well as materials takeoff, management of supplies, and excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during projects. Legacy Enterprises is a rapidly growing construction services provider, looking for the right fit to be part of the drywall division within our company.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate drywall finishing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct routine quality control checks and perform touchups.
- Perform takeoffs for materials installation.
- Oversee the timelines and deadlines for each project, ensuring proper deadlines are hit and quality is met.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in drywall.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with both hanging and finishing is preferred, but finishing is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and team members professionally.
