We are looking for an individual who excels in working directly with families, conducting arrangements, and managing administrative responsibilities in a professional funeral home environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet with families and conduct funeral and cremation arrangements
- Coordinate funeral services, visitations, and memorial events
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation and permits
- Create and review obituaries, prayer cards, and memorial materials
- Provide exceptional customer service and compassionate family care
- Maintain accurate records and case files
- Assist with office administration and daily operations
- Communicate effectively with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, and vendors
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Funeral Director License
- Strong arrangement conference and family service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and manage several cases simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Technical Skills Required
Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
- Canva
- Zoom
- MIMS
- Tribute Technology platforms
- General office software and computer systems
What We Offer
- Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Limited weekend responsibilities as needed
