CareStaff Partners is seeking two (2) qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time, school-based positions in Port Orchard, Washington for the 2026–2027 school year. These are in-person positions supporting students across two elementary school sites.
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

- Setting: School-Based
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Schedule: 7.5 hours per day
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $63–$71/hour
- Work Setting: In-person only
- School Level: Elementary
- School Sites: Two school locations
- Caseload: K–12
- Typical Caseload: Approximately 48–60 students
- Caseload Limit: 48 students, although caseloads may exceed this depending on the school year
The School-Based SLP will provide speech and language services to students while collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to students
- Conducting evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Supporting students with communication and language needs
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers and school staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation and service records
- Providing services in accordance with students' educational plans and school requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Active Washington State SLP License
- Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a school-based caseload effectively
