Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday (4-day workweek, including every Saturday)

The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our advanced cardiac imaging team in a PRN capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled imaging professional who has extensive experience performing cardiac CT examinations and thrives in an independent, fast-paced specialty practice.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who not only delivers exceptional patient care but also contributes to the continued growth and optimization of our CT program through workflow development, protocol standardization, and accreditation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality cardiac CT imaging, including:
- Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)
- Coronary Calcium Scoring
- Peripheral CT Angiography and Runoff Studies
- Operate and optimize GE CT imaging systems.
- Establish and maintain IV access, including contrast administration, while following all safety protocols.
- Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Work independently while managing daily CT operations.
- Assist with developing and refining CT imaging protocols and departmental workflows.
- Support accreditation initiatives and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff.
- Maintain compliance with all organizational, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Registered CT Technologist with appropriate ARRT certification.
- Current Florida State Licensure (if applicable).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of CT experience.
- Extensive experience performing:
- Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)
- Coronary Calcium Scoring
- Peripheral Runoff CT studies
- Extensive experience operating GE CT platforms.
- Advanced IV insertion and contrast administration skills.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac CT imaging protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable assisting with accreditation readiness, protocol development, and workflow optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cardiology or cardiovascular specialty practice.
- Experience participating in ACR and/or ICAEL accreditation processes.
- Previous involvement in quality improvement or departmental program development.
Work Schedule
- On-call Wednesday through Saturday
- Travel between our Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, and Clermont locations is required based on operational needs.

Education:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program required.
Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT) required
- Current BLS Certification
- Florida license, where applicable
