LAS VEGAS SPECIAL EVENTS SECURITY OFFICERS — $25.00/HOUR
Alert Security Asset Protection is hiring Security Officers for special events throughout Las Vegas!
Are you a dependable security professional looking for flexible, temporary work with the opportunity to work at exciting special events throughout the year?
We are building a team of on-call Special Events Security Officers to support concerts, conventions, festivals, sporting events, private events, and other special assignments throughout the Las Vegas area.
STARTING PAY: $25.00 PER HOUR
These are NOT permanent full-time positions. Work is based on the availability of special events throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security officers who want to pick up additional work without committing to a permanent schedule.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
You MUST meet ALL of the following requirements to apply:
- ✅ Current Nevada PILB Guard Card required
- ✅ Must have your own reliable transportation/vehicle
- ✅ Must be available to work shifts primarily between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM
- ✅ Must be dependable and able to report to assignments on time
- ✅ Must have a professional appearance and attitude
- ✅ Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, guests, employees, and the public
- ✅ Must be able to follow post orders, instructions, and company policies
- ✅ Prior security experience preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Special Events Security Officers may be assigned to a variety of locations and events throughout the Las Vegas area.
Duties may include:
- Providing a visible security presence
- Monitoring entrances and exits
- Checking credentials, tickets, or access points
- Conducting foot patrols
- Monitoring crowds and identifying potential security concerns
- Protecting clients, guests, employees, and property
- Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Enforcing event rules and access-control procedures
- Completing incident reports and other required documentation
- Working closely with event management and Alert Security supervisors
- Performing other security duties as assigned
