ABOUT US:
Hula poke is the first poke restaurant in San Antonio. We serve poke bowls and sushi burritos which are Hawaiian-inspired raw fish salad that are served in a customizable bowl of rice, salad or in a burrito form. Kind of subway-style but with sushi!
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Back of house:
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, rice, proteins, and other ingredients
- Cut and portion ingredients according to restaurant standards
- Cook rice and prepare food for daily service
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the kitchen, prep area, and storage area clean and organized
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Complete opening and closing kitchen duties
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Must follow instructions and work well with others
- Food Handler Certificate is required or must be obtained after hiring
JOB TYPE: Part-time or full-time available. Morning, evening, and weekend availability is preferred.
PAY: $13 to $17.00 an hour depending on working experience.
