Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – San Diego, CA (92130)
Our dental office is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in our San Diego location. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
- Prepare patients for dental treatments and procedures
- Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures
- Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Sterilize and maintain instruments in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Take and process dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
- Support both back-office and front-office duties as needed
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Strong chairside assisting skills and knowledge of dental assisting procedures
- Understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and aseptic techniques
- Experience with EMR software (Open Dental experience preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
