Reports To: VP of Operations
Salary Type/Range: Salary $100k to $125k
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, client satisfaction, budget adherence, and schedule integrity. This role works closely with both the Operations and Development Teams to uphold Haggerty Construction Inc.’s (HCI) commitments and standards, while ensuring each project meets its Program Requirements and performance goals.

Serve as the primary liaison between HCI, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifestyle.

Effectively manage scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.

Lead and mentor team members including Superintendents and Project Assistants.

Execute high-quality construction practices that align with HCI’s mission and values.

Develop and maintain consistent weekly communication with clients.

Schedule and lead project kickoff and internal/client debrief meetings.

Coordinate with Superintendents on the 5-week look-ahead schedule to ensure project progress.

Monitor and control project cost, timeline, and deliverables.

Prepare pay applications by the 24th of each month and review job cost reports monthly.

Negotiate subcontracts, ensuring complete and clear scopes of work.

Accurately review and approve project-related invoices within 48 hours.

Monitor general conditions and track job-specific budget variances to maintain or exceed HCI profit margins.

Ensure proper execution and tracking of Change Orders.

Use Procore for managing RFI logs, submittals, inspections, safety reports, and cost control documentation.

Ensure closeout documentation is complete, organized, and delivered to the client.

Maintain compliance with project and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements.

Supervise and support the project team and mentor junior staff.

Provide safety leadership and enforce jobsite standards and regulations.

Address conflicts with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors efficiently.

Lead training initiatives and encourage ongoing professional development.

Ensure construction work is of the highest quality and compliant with HCI’s standards.

Oversee jobsite mobilization and branding.

Enforce all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Assist with safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Required:

Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, standards, and industry regulations

Experience in cost control, budgeting, and scheduling (CPM methods).

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project), Adobe PDF, and Procore

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred/Considered:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management

Familiarity with BIM, LEAN, and LEED construction practices

Previous experience mentoring or training team members

Leadership – Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team toward project goals
