Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead <PERSON> to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Oversee the preparation and review of contracts, change orders, and scope documents to maintain clarity and compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Monitor project progress through site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing estimates with HeavyBid or comparable tools, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations by enforcing OSHA guidelines and conducting regular safety meetings on-site.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and workflow management.
- Oversee procurement of materials using Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools to ensure timely delivery of resources.
- Supervise construction site activities including reading blueprints, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing.
- Conduct regular team meetings to update progress, address issues promptly, and motivate team members toward project success.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management including supervision of teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and other construction management software platforms.
- Strong knowledge of contracts administration, budgeting techniques, and construction estimating processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision; familiarity with Ohmmeters for electrical work is a plus.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards coupled with practical experience implementing safety protocols on-site.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to adapt plans dynamically as projects evolve.
- Proven leadership capabilities with supervising experience that fosters teamwork and accountability.
