Utilize your technical experience, managing skills, honesty, and work ethic to better Pro-Air Mechanical Inc. for its clients and employees. Work in close conjunction with install team to ensure the continued success and profitability of the install department. This position is field based.
· Primary responsibility is to execute installations properly per local codes and client’s specifications. In the event work in installation/construction becomes slow you will be willing to work in the service department.
· Review plans and specs to make sure things will fit and work per the intent of the contract documents. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
· Lead and oversee installs and crew members on jobsite. To include the following:
o Confirming all materials and communicating to Project Manager if something is missing. Working and help delegate sub-contractors on jobsites. Oversee third party’s job tasks and is up the local codes and manufacture’s specifications.
o Communicating with install team. Example: What install/job is being done on what day, who’s on the job, who’s picking up equipment, what time install crew is onsite and what job entails or any potential hazards installers may face.
o Running installation and ensure timely completion. Completing installation per client’s requirements and state/local building code regulations and manufacture specifications.
o Completing all required closeout documentation and pictures associated with install. This includes completing Install checklist, startup forms, and documenting a punch list if a return trip is needed.
· To stay up to date and follow all state and local mechanical codes (You and your team members). Will work with Project Manager for additional support.
· Be present and pass inspections.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Willing to become OSHA Certified
· Previous experience in a lead installer or similar role
· Taking full responsibility for proper completion of installations and correcting any discrepancies. All jobs are to be installed per manufacture specifications. Electrical, positioning, securing, and performance must match installers manual.
· Oversee the removal of old equipment to the recycling area of our yard, and proper recycling of refrigerant with record keeping. Make sure all job tools/job vehicles (hydraulic lifts, J-bars, genie lifts, spot coolers, flatbeds, and install trailer) are fully operational and in good working condition (Gets with Ariel regarding flatbeds). Confirms the tools returned to shop.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
