Responsibilities
- Operate pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently to clean building exteriors, sidewalks, parking lots, machinery, and other surfaces.
- Use hand tools and cleaning equipment effectively for detailed or hard-to-reach areas.
- Prepare work sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, or other access tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of equipment or debris during cleaning projects.
- Apply industrial cleaning techniques for duct cleaning, floor buffing, and outdoor surface maintenance.
- Follow strict safety procedures by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and respirators during all operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of all cleaning equipment and report any repairs or malfunctions promptly.
- Assist with outdoor work projects that may involve working at heights or in varying weather conditions.
- Use fire extinguishers appropriately in case of emergencies while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about job scope and progress.
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with pressure washing techniques and the use of related cleaning equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions demonstrates resilience and adaptability.
- Knowledge of safety protocol adherence including proper PPE use and manual handling procedures is essential.
- Ability to operate ladders safely and perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting is required.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
