Skilled Nursing & Vent Unit | Fountain View – Cincinnati, OH (Silverton Area)
Fountain View is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with Ventilator experience to join our skilled nursing and ventilator care team. As a VentExperienced RN, you will play a critical role in delivering specialized nursing care to residents requiring ventilator and complex respiratory support. You will work closely with respiratory therapy, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure clinical excellence, safety, and quality outcomes.
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents with ventilators and complex medical needs
- Monitor ventilator settings, respiratory status, and overall patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
- Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and emergencies
- Support infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to LPNs and CNAs as needed
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Ventilator experience required (skilled nursing, LTACH, ICU, or hospital experience preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and criticalthinking skills
- Experience in skilled nursing or longterm care preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
