Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes to deliver freight promptly and securely
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts ensuring proper handling of freight
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records for each trip
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road
- Communicate effectively with dispatches and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various truck types
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving
- Physical ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and handle cargo loading tasks
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries effectively and maintain professional customer interactions

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
