We're currently seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our growing team.
As a Mitigation Technician, you'll respond to emergency property damage situations and help restore homes and buildings following water, fire, mold, and other property losses. Responsibilities include:
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and mitigation services
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, including water, fire, sewage, and storm damage
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air movers
- Conduct moisture mapping and document affected areas using company technology
- Remove damaged building materials while following proper restoration procedures
- Perform mold remediation and containment procedures as required
- Complete detailed job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, notes, and customer signatures
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and restoration equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members

We're looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge of moisture mapping, drying equipment, and restoration procedures
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or other restoration certifications) preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic smartphone and computer skills
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with a required rotating weekend and overnight on-call schedule
- English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 pounds and perform the physical demands of the job, including standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces and various weather conditions
- Comfortable working in environments affected by water, sewage, mold, smoke, debris, and other restoration-related conditions while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
- Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
