Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Structural Steel Fitter/Welder in Hurricane, UT! If you have experience reading blueprints, interpreting welding symbols, fitting structural steel, and producing high-quality welds, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and section views.

Understand and apply welding symbols and fabrication procedures.

Perform fit-up and welding operations according to detailed shop drawings.

Operate production equipment and assist with material handling.

Measure, align, and position structural steel components accurately.

Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow established safety procedures and fabrication standards.
Qualifications

Ability to pass an in-house 2G weld test within the first three days of employment.

Experience reading blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.

Proficient with tape measures, squares, hammers, and other fabrication tools.

Must provide own welding helmet, tape measure, square, hammer, and steel-toe boots.

Reliable transportation required.

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.

High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred:
- 3+ years of structural steel, production welding, fabrication, or fitter/welder experience.

Equivalent welding trade school, apprenticeship, or technical training.

Knowledge of AWS and AISC fabrication standards.
-
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Experience in structural steel fabrication, welding, fit-up, and production environments.
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Full Time | Monday-Friday | Swing Shift | 3:30 PM – 2:30 AM

Initial training on day shift for 1–2 weeks.

Additional $3.00 per hour swing shift differential.

Overtime available after 40 hours per week.
-
Rotating Saturdays may be required during peak production periods.
-
If 10-hour shifts are implemented, the schedule will rotate with two Saturdays on and one Saturday off.
