Duties
- Assist senior mechanics with diagnosing issues on forklifts, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment using OEM manuals and schematics
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, and hydraulic system inspections
- Support the repair and assembly of various equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools to carry out repairs and fabrication projects
- Help with the inspection of transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components for proper operation
- Participate in heavy lifting operations safely while handling components or machinery parts
- Maintain detailed service records and assist in documenting repairs using proper procedures
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn automotive diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and safety procedures
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Previous experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating strong customer service skills when interacting with clients or vendors

Pay: $25.12 - $30.26 per hour
