Position Summary
Nexteel Saha, LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Temporary Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations during a six- to eight-week employee absence. This position will help maintain the timely and accurate processing of daily financial transactions at our manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to begin contributing with minimal supervision. Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
- Enter vendor bills and maintain accurate vendor records
- Assist with accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and payment tracking
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
- Record deposits, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions
- Review vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records
- Assist with purchase orders, expense reports, and supporting documentation
- Provide payroll-related administrative support as needed
- Prepare basic financial and transaction reports for management
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding accounting matters
- Support month-end closing activities
- Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
- Ability to accurately manage a high volume of financial transactions
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines
- Manufacturing, industrial, or construction accounting experience is preferred
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
Assignment Expectations
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately six to eight weeks. The selected candidate must be available to work on-site during regular business hours and should be prepared to quickly learn Nexteel Saha’s accounting processes and procedures.
The duration of the assignment may be adjusted based on business needs.
