Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring guest satisfaction, optimizing revenue management, and maintaining high operational standards across all departments.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead and mentor hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest services and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance.
- Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for communication within the team and with guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and amenities, ensuring adequate stock is maintained for smooth operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry - minimum one year of hotel experience and knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with guests from various backgrounds.
- Familiarity with guest services best practices and front desk operations.
- Experience in revenue management techniques to optimize financial performance.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and phone systems.
