Job Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot residential internet, TV, and phone services
- Run and terminate coax and Cat5/6 cabling
- Install modems, routers, set‑top boxes, and WiFi equipment
- Perform signal testing and ensure all work meets ISP standards
- Provide professional customer service and complete documentation accurately
- Follow all safety and ladder‑handling procedures
Requirements
- Experience as a residential cable installer (Cox experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of coax, fittings, grounding, and signal levels
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and have a clean MVR
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in attics/crawl spaces
- Smartphone required for work order apps
- Reliable personal vehicle preferred (truck/van/SUV), but company vehicle options available
