Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- EIPA Score of 3.5 or higher is required (please submit proof with your application)
- Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting for diverse educational needs and group sizes
- Ability to adapt communication styles for different student age groups (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation between students, staff, and peers during academic and extracurricular activities
- Adjust interpreting approaches to meet the unique needs of individual and small group caseloads (1-3 students at the HS level, 1-5 at the K-8th level)
- Facilitate engagement and understanding in classroom discussions, instructions, and school events
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure accessible communication for all assigned students
- Attend professional training days at the start of the academic year
