Position Summary
The position will involve delivering store selected food orders using Company owned van type truck to private residences and apartment style dwellings, and wholesale accounts. When not doing so you will be helping stock product in the store.
Position Accountabilities
- Load and verify acceptance of store orders on to company truck via a phone based Delivery App.
- Deliver and secure payment (cash, credit card, charge signature) for all store orders given to you via a phone based Delivery App.
- Remain accountable at days end for all monies received.
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
- Report mechanical and damage issues to the office.
- Correct and responsible usage of all equipment.
- Stock Food product in an assigned section of the store when not driving/ delivering
- Work in the Store at various duties in our Grocery/ front end department
- Able to work Saturday's and Sunday's up until 3pm on occasion if needed
Preferred Experience
None Needed but Person must have a valid NJ driver’s license with some familiarity of the immediate area
Skills Required
- Good People communication skills
- Fluent English
- Able to bend & lift boxes no more than 75 lbs
- Able to work Saturday as Normal work shift.
Compensation
You will receive for your work a full time steady daytime position. You will work approximately 40 hours. During your trial period an Energetic and eager to learn individual can expect a starting rate will be 16.00 an hour plus excellent tips. Your Trail period will last no longer than 1 month and maybe shorten if you’re not qualified. After being accepted as a driver your rate will be 16.50 hr.
Available to you after 12 months of employment will be, Holiday pay, Vacation time benefits. ACA health care coverage available.'
