Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Plater & Anodizer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will operate plating and anodizing process lines to produce high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications, military and industry standards, and quality requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a production environment where quality and on-time delivery are critical.
Responsibilities:
- Operate plating and anodizing process lines.
- Review job travelers, blueprints, and process specifications.
- Rack, wire, mask, clean, and prepare parts for processing.
- Calculate surface area, current density, voltage, and processing time.
- Monitor tank temperatures, agitation, and processing conditions.
- Inspect parts and verify coating thickness using micrometers and XRF equipment.
- Work with Quality and Operations to meet production schedules.
- Complete job documentation accurately.
- Follow all safety, chemical handling, and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of plating, anodizing, or metal finishing experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to safely work with industrial chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Mil-Spec or Nadcap experience is a plus.
