Responsibilities
- Receive and unload inbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Verify shipment accuracy by inspecting packages against shipping documents and scanning items with RF scanners or barcode readers
- Use warehouse management system (WMS) and AS400 to record receipt details and update inventory records
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized for easy picking and packing
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for timely dispatch
- Assist with order fulfillment processes including order picking, packing, and loading for delivery or distribution
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during load & unload activities and equipment operation
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience with shipping & receiving processes preferred
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy
- Experience with order picker machines, RF scanners, and packaging equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stock levels and order accuracy
- Good physical stamina to lift heavy packages, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse machinery safely
