We're seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs/COTAs) who are passionate about helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and maintain their independence where they are most comfortable.
Whether you're looking to supplement your current caseload or build a larger patient base over time, we offer the flexibility to work around your availability while providing the support and resources needed to succeed.
Pay
- OT's can earn between $70-$80 Per diem (Full time OT's earn between $80,000 - $117,000 per year)
- OTA's / COTA's can earn between $50-$55 Per diem (Full time OTA's / COTA's earn between $50,000-$100,000 per year)
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations, reassessments, and discharge visits
- Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and safety
- Provide training related to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
- Evaluate cognitive, visual, perceptual, and upper extremity deficits
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications
- Provide upper extremity strengthening and functional task training
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding safety, adaptive techniques, and energy conservation
- Conduct home safety assessments and fall-prevention interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and family members
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
Equipment Provided
- Company-issued clinician bag
- Company-issued tablet for documentation, scheduling, and patient care management
Requirements
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Current TB clearance (TB test or chest X-ray, as applicable)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
