About the Role
As a Field Service Specialist for commercial entry systems, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial door hardware and access control systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring site security and operational efficiency by delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise installations and repairs of commercial doors, loading docks, and integrated hardware systems.

Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures, implementing effective resolutions to minimize client downtime.

Configure and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, access control hardware, and automated entry components.

Ensure all field work adheres strictly to safety protocols and current building code regulations.

Provide consultative support to customers, explaining technical issues and recommending cost-effective, long-term maintenance solutions.

Document service activities, repair logs, and installation data to maintain accurate site history records.

Perform rigorous quality inspections on all completed projects to uphold high performance and safety standards.

High school diploma or equivalent.

4+ years of hands-on experience in the commercial door or industrial hardware industry.

Demonstrated proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.

Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and perform tasks in varied physical positions.

Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Current AAADM certification.

Experience with storefront glazing or automatic door systems.

Background in welding or metal fabrication.

Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and schematics.
