Our service porters typically the face of the dealership. They provide excellent customer service before handing them off to the advisor. Primary responsibilities include moving and parking vehicles in the dealership service parking lot to accommodate the needs of mechanics, sales representatives, car buyers, and other visitors. Dealership service porters drive the cars to the customer delivery area and ensure vehicles are in tip-top shape for handing off the keys.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage vehicle flow in our service lane, service drive, and within the auto group parking lot
- Work with the auto group service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, prep cars for service department, driving vehicles to and from parked service area, following dealership display standards, fielding customer requests, and other assigned duties
- Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs
- Clean service lane area when needed
- Service customer needs with a positive attitude
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good driving record required
