Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Glass Glazier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of commercial storefront systems, aluminum doors, and glass panels in a variety of commercial settings. Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial glazing systems and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and glaze commercial storefront systems and curtain wall components
- Install commercial doors (including frames, hardware, and closures)
- Measure, cut, fit, and install glass for various applications
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Safely operate glass handling and installation tools, equipment, and lifts
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Handle and transport glass with care to prevent breakage or damage
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial glass glazier or similar role
- Knowledge of commercial glazing systems (storefronts, curtain walls, doors)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in glazing
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and handle large glass panels and materials
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
