Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Embroidery Production Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume embroidery team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who isn't afraid to get their hands on the machinery while ensuring the entire department hits production targets with precision.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end embroidery process—from workflow coordination and staff management to machine maintenance and quality control. Your goal is to ensure every garment meets our high standards and is delivered to our customers on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Manage daily production schedules to ensure orders are completed efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor embroidery operators. Foster a collaborative environment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on designs, thread tension, and garment placement to maintain superior output.
- Technical Troubleshooting: troubleshoot mechanical or software issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement strategies to increase efficiency.
- Inventory & Coordination: Monitor supplies (threads, backings, needles) and coordinate order fulfillment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in commercial embroidery is required. You must understand the "ins and outs" of embroidery techniques and machine operation.
- Leadership: Strong background in managing teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred to effectively communicate with our diverse team.
- Technical Savvy: Deep knowledge of embroidery machinery, digitizing basics, and garment types.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced facility where priorities can shift quickly.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail to ensure every stitch is perfect.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
