Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitorial Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This full-time position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, production areas, and common spaces

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and recycling

Replenish restroom and break room supplies

Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces

Perform minor building maintenance and repairs as needed

Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly

Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Previous janitorial, custodial, or general maintenance experience preferred

Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools

Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and storage

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Good communication skills

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must successfully pass a background check
