This position organizationally falls under the Behavioral Health Department Director of the Kickapoo Health Center as operated by the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma. Operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or as needed to serve the health care needs. The purpose of this position is to provide advocacy, linkage, referral, counseling, case management, and independent living skills training to children/adolescents and their families. Performs duties in support of the tribal health center mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
Work Experience and/or Education:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent,
A total of 6 months of direct, documented experience working with persons who live with mental illness and/or substance abuse issue,
Required to obtain and maintain Case Management certification.
Experience: Prior experience is required in Behavioral Health.
Requirements:
All applicants tentatively selected for employment will be required to submit to an oral drug test to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and random drug testing throughout employment.
Will be required to have an OSBI background clearance as well as Federal background clearance.
Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver License.
