Desired Skills and Experience:
- Hold current WA SLP licensure and appropriate certification (CCC required)
- Fully fingerprinted through OSPI by the start date
- Previous experience serving school-aged populations, preferably K-12
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and IEP documentation
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 45 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy directly to students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and update goals as necessary
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
