Optician - Private Optometry Practice (Natick, MA)
We are a growing private optometry practice in Natick MA, under new ownership and looking for an Optician to join our team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week, no weekends) with a great benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with frame styling, lens selection, and eyewear sales
- Perform lensometry, dispensing, and adjustments
- Support contact lens sales and patient education
- Process insurance billing and patient orders
- Deliver excellent customer service in a professional setting
Qualifications:
- Licensed and non-licensed opticians welcome
- Must have some optical experience (ie working in optical/retail optical sales/optometry offices etc.)
Knowledge of:
- Frame styling, lens designs and materials.
- Contact lens products and sales. Lensometry and dispensing. Insurance billing (a plus)
- EPM software (a plus)
- Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
- Motivated, independent, and team-oriented
