Transport Custom Designs, a custom trailer manufacturer located in Montoursville, Pa, is looking for talented individuals who share our passion for custom work to join our team!
Working at TCD requires a variety of trade skills to build these unique custom trailers. TCD builds anything from small aluminum food trailers to big steel gooseneck toy haulers. We build every trailer completely custom from the ground up. We have a welding department that brings in raw steel or aluminum and cuts, welds, and fabricates each trailer to the drawings provided by our engineer. Candidates that have welding ability is an added asset. Once the steel or aluminum shell is completed the trailer will move into the interior and exterior finish department. This is where we utilize workers that have basic construction skills to install wood flooring, frame out interior partition walls, install doors and windows, and install aluminum siding and trim. We do a lot of 12 volt electrical wiring on all of our trailers. The ability to wire lights and additional electrical components is an added asset.
