We want you to come join our fantastic Rocky Hill Animal Hospital team. We need an experienced receptionist to jump in. We are a full service small animal hospital located in the Rocky Hill community.
This position will require you to work 1 or 2 days as a kennel tech
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to checking clients in and out using Shepherd software, don't worry this is really easy to use! Answering phones, taking payments, helping clients with questions regarding services. Maintain a neat and clean reception area. On kennel days you will care for all boarders. Making sure they are clean, feed and walked. Take in and send home dogs/cats while interacting with owners.
We are a paperless clinic, no filing, that offers exams, surgery, boarding, bathing and grooming. You will work with all departments to keep things running smoothly.
<Requirements>
- Previous experience in veterinary reception or pet care environments is highly preferred
- Previous kennel experience is a must
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to pet owners
- Basic proficiency in veterinary-related software systems for record keeping and scheduling
