ACGH, Inc. – Director, Full Time
Starting Salary: $40,000 to $45,000 yearly depending on experience

Alleghany County Group Homes, Inc. is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Director to provide leadership and oversight for our Day Program Services and Residential Program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This position works closely with the Executive Director to ensure high-quality services while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who enjoys developing staff, building community partnerships, and improving programs that enhance the lives of the people we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision for Day Program and Residential staff.
- Ensure programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Assist with budgeting, planning, and implementation of organizational goals.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Maintain staffing schedules and required staffing ratios.
- Oversee program quality improvement initiatives and self-evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and service providers.
- Coordinate client services, admissions, documentation, transportation, and safety programs.
- Ensure confidentiality and protection of client rights.
- Assist with developing new community opportunities and program growth.
- Promote a safe, respectful, person-centered environment for individuals receiving services.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferred in a human services, social service, or business field. Bachelor's degree in other areas considered if currently IDD-QP for NC or must qualify to become a "Qualified Professional" for developmental disabilities as defined by the State of North Carolina or be working towards a degree and qualifications. Prior supervising experience preferred.
