The Gardens at Millville is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. If you are passionate about preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and thrive in a team-oriented healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.
Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control guidelines.
Coordinate food production schedules to ensure meals are served promptly.
Follow standardized recipes and accommodate therapeutic and special dietary requirements.
Accurately execute menu items, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
Maintain compliance with sanitation standards and food production codes.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or healthcare setting.
Culinary training or formal education is a plus.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe food handling practices.
