The primary function of the Senior Accountant is to assist accounting management in planning, organizing and conducting the daily activities of the general accounting function of Finance/Accounting to ensure proper development, maintenance and reporting of financial data.

Essential Functions:-
Compile and manage data for recording fixed assets and depreciation roll forward schedules for both PA and CA locations

Perform month-end closing and associated journal entries by working with and supporting the Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable and Corporate Controller.

Complete the month end balance sheet analysis by creating and maintaining the supporting documentation.

Work collaboratively with the other members of the Finance/Accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly and annual close process.

Prepare financial analyses, as needed.

Assist Finance/Accounting management team with internal and external audits.

Provide support to Finance/Accounting management team in the monthly projection cycle and annual budgeting process.

Complete all Gross to Net – TPM accounting and work closely with the Deductions Sales Analyst to unsure accruals and deductions are accurately reflected in the financials

Serve as backup and maintain vendor file and work with Finance/Accounting management team to address issues and improve internal controls.

Maintain the transaction approval matrix for the invoice approval process

Provide back-up support to the Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable as needed.

Support the Accounting Manager/team and Corporate Controller/Vice President of Finance and Administration through the performance of ad hoc requested responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements:-
Understanding of generally accepted Accounting Principles and familiarity with generally accepted Auditing Standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software
Education:-
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Accounting; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
