Hawkins Building Group is a fast-growing custom home building company serving the Mid-Coast of Maine, Lakes Region in New Hampshire, and the Greater Boston, MA area. We are currently expanding our Massachusetts Carpentry team:
Experience:
- Carpentry experience: 5+ years (Required)
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Work Location: Multiple Locations
We are looking for an experienced carpenter who specializes in custom residential home renovation and construction.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a proven track record of experience with frame-to-finish carpentry and general construction skills.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in both rough and finish carpentry.
- Be proficient in using electrical and manual equipment, and measurement tools.
- Consistently maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
- Have strong communication skills, take direction from site supervisors, and work in conjunction with subcontractors.
- Take initiative to complete tasks independently but also be willing to seek support with unexpected challenges or conditions.
- Be comfortable travelling between project sites and working on multiple projects, as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining job site safety standards and reporting all issues to site supervisor.
- Keep job site clean and orderly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
