Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Support food preparation and plating when needed, ensuring dishes meet quality standards before serving
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while adhering to food safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including floors, tables, and stations, following health regulations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
- Provide exceptional guest services by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with food handling, bussing, and basic food safety practices
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast is a plus
- Previous banquet or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are vital for delivering outstanding guest services
- Knowledge of culinary operations or kitchen experience enhances your ability to support the team effectively
- A background in hospitality or customer service roles demonstrates your ability to create positive guest interactions
