Job Overview
Ago Home Services is hiring a reliable, skilled, and hardworking Handyman / Cleaning Technician to join our growing field team.
This is a hands-on field role where you will perform multiple types of services at customer homes and businesses. The job combines handyman work, professional cleaning, equipment-based services, and occasional customer interaction.
Cleaning is a core part of the job, and candidates must be comfortable performing full residential and commercial cleanings in addition to handyman tasks.
Appointments are scheduled based on availability and job demand. Work takes place across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, so candidates must be comfortable driving between locations.
Main ResponsibilitiesCleaning Services (Primary Responsibility)
Residential house cleaning
Commercial cleaning
Deep cleaning and move-in / move-out cleaning
Carpet cleaning
Laundry services when required
Cleaning is a major component of the job, and strong cleaning skills are required.
Handyman Services
Drywall repair (holes, cracks, patching)
Painting and touch-ups
Door repair and installation
Lock replacement and hardware installation
Furniture assembly
TV mounting and wall mounting
Shelf and cabinet installation
Baseboard and trim repair
Light carpentry work
Caulking and sealing
Tile repair or replacement
Additional Field Services
Car detailing (interior and exterior)
Carpet cleaning
Power washing
Junk removal
Light moving and furniture handling
Appliance installation (washer, dryer, dishwasher, hood)
Minor plumbing work (faucets, sinks, toilets)
Minor electrical work (fixtures, outlets, switches)
Training can be provided for some specialized services.
Work Structure
There is no fixed schedule.
Appointments are assigned based on:
- your availability
- service demand
- performance
Typical workload is multiple jobs per week across different service types.
Compensation
Base Pay:
$700 per week (6 days of work)
Additional Earnings:
Bonuses paid per completed job
Gas Support:
Weekly gas stipend provided
Payment Schedule:
Paid weekly.
Requirements (Strict)
Must have reliable vehicle
Must be comfortable driving throughout NJ and PA
Fluent English required | Spanish is a strong Plus
Physically capable (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Professional with customers
Must have basic tools and cleaning supplies
Experience in cleaning, handyman work, or home services preferred
